The great event of Ecomondo Fair in Rimini is back from November 7th to 10th, 2012, and Ecopneus will be attending with two appointments in agenda, besides with its own booth at pavilion B1.
The event will start on November 8th with the presentation of the book “The second chance to give a new life to our wastes”, written by Quintino Protopapa and Giovanni Corbetta, Ecopneus’ Managing Director. The book explains, lightly and with taste, the sensible and virtuous behaviours necessary to throw behind our back a past based on wastes, and to re-address our habits together with our way of thinking, toward a new concept of waste and future.
On November 9th Ecopneus will hold a workshop, entitled “Green Rubber – Recycle and sustainability in asphalts, sport, road safety. The uses of recycled rubber derived from End of Life Tyres”. The workshop will cover in four separate sections the main aspects of market development and of the applications of ELT recycled rubber.

Book presentation: The second chance to give a new life to our wastes
The question: “which inheritance will we leave to posterity” has a simple answer: mainly wastes. Everyday, in fact, we produce such a huge quantities of wastes that you can find into the oceans wastes accumulations as broad as a nation… To interrupt such a “siege” it is necessary to throw behind our back a past based on wastes, and to widen, thanks to the many lessons taken from the past, that “opening” of sensible and virtuous behaviours toward which the economic crisis is already directing us. Lightly and with telling taste, The second chance explains how to do it.
