Sustainability Report
Every year Ecopneus publishes its Sustainability Report. Its aim is to transparently report the performances of Ecopneus in its management of End-of-Life Tyres.
It is the tool the Consortium has chosen to give an account of its activities to all of its stakeholders: shareholders, institutions, chain operators, the Public Administration, and all citizens.
The Report records all the results achieved, the impacts generated throughout the whole chain, the measurable environmental benefits, and the economic value distribution. Every single piece of information is verified and traced, and it matches the reports sent to the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security.
Transparency is not a formal obligation. On the contrary, it is the foundation of the Ecopneus model. It allows the Partners of Ecopneus to evaluate the system efficiency. The institutions, instead, can verify the compliance with all legal obligations through it; the chain operators, instead, can understand their own role within the Italian national circular economy.
2024 Sustainability Report
The national system of End-of-Life Tyre management represents a virtuous example of circular economy in Italy. It concretely contributes to the environmental sustainability and the valorisation of Italy’s resources through the recovery of precious material and the reduction of the environmental impact.
