Shareholders

Ecopneus currently has 50 shareholders: tyre manufacturers and importers that have chosen to become shareholders of Ecopneus. Under Art. 228 of Legislative Decree 152/2006, tyre manufacturers and importers are indeed obliged to ensure the management of a quantity of ELTs equal in weight to that which is placed on the replacement market in the preceding calendar year, based on the Extended Producer Responsibility – an organizational model adopted by the majority of the European Countries.
