To fight against the irregular and illegal practices of the industry, from the “off-the-books” sale, to the evasion of eco-fees for the recycling of End-of-Life tyres, Ecopneus has been among the promoters of the Observatory on the illegal flows of tyres and ELTs in Italy. Together with activities of study and analysis of the phenomenon, the Observatory has launched “Clean Change”, the first whistleblowing platform in Italy for the confidential and anonymous reporting of irregularities and illegality cases along the chain, which comprises over 50,000 companies in Italy. Together with Ecopneus and Legambiente, also the other main consortiums for the management of ELTs and the trade associations Confartigianato, CAN, Airp and Federpneus have joined this initiative.
