L’Italia del Riciclo (Recycling in Italy), the annual report about waste recycling and recovery has reached its tenth edition. Ecopneus is one of its main supporters.
The presentation of the Report made by the Foundation for Sustainable Development (Fondazione per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile) and FISE UNICIRCULAR, will be held in Rome on 6th December 2019. It will highlight the trends of the sector during the last decade highlighting also its main criticalities.
Ecopneus is among the supporters of Italy of Recycling. This is the only report about waste recycling in our Country, and it represents one of the sources the European Commission makes reference to for the analysis of the state of evolution of Italy’s environmental sustainability policies.
Overall, waste recycling in Italy has made great progress and is ready to reach the new objectives set by the Directives; however, it will be necessary to act carefully in order not to fall behind. It will also be necessary to overcome the shortages and criticalities that are still existing and progress further.
