After Ferrara and Oristano, Buccino in Campania will be the site to benefit from the ELTs recovery activities completely funded by Ecopneus. The site subject of an illegal stock of end of life tyres is located in the industrial area of the municipality.
In the industrial area, allocated to Nardi Europa years ago, contained over 80.000 tons of ELTs of different type and dimension, in about 30.000 sqm. Thanks to the cooperation with the firms Logistica and Castiglia, end of life tyres will be collected and deliverd to the shredding centres T.R.S., Irigom, Sycorex, and Ricy Rubber, so that either an energy recovery or a material recovery will be possible.
These operations will end in Spring 2013.
