In 2017 the Foundation “Arturo Toscanini” inaugurated the Musical Production Centre “Arturo Toscanini”, located in a complex of buildings situated in the ex-Eridania Park, a large green area not far from the historical centre of Parma.

The Production Centre comprises a main building composed of two large rehearsal rooms, a conference room, archives, offices, warehouses, technical spaces and study rooms. It is integrating part of the project “Music Park” started by the City Administration.

The largest rehearsal room, 400 square metres, is dedicated to Gianandrea Gavazzeni. It underwent major acoustic renovation, where materials deriving from the recycling of ELTs were used.

In the video, Maestro Luigi Ferrari, head of the Foundation “Toscanini”, explains the renovation and the advantages deriving from the use of recycled rubber in the rehearsal room.
